Shell

Our purpose is to power progress together by providing more and cleaner energy solutions🌱.

We believe that rising standards of living for a growing global population are likely to continue to drive demand for energy, including oil and gas, for years to come.

At the same time, the world’s need to tackle climate change is behind a global transition to a low-carbon energy system. Help us power the change 🌍.

Irene Khoo

Shell Assessed Intern

"My experience with the Shell assessed internship was very rewarding and challenging. I learnt a lot, not only in terms of technical knowledge, but I also improved on other skills such as leadership, stakeholder management and communication. Admittedly, the internship felt a bit overwhelming in the beginning; however, between my manager, mentors and others in my team, I was quickly able to overcome this feeling. The other interns were also a great support, even though we weren’t in the same team or working on similar projects, I managed to develop long lasting friendships with a lot of these people.

If you’re thinking about an assessed internship with Shell, I would highly recommend it. The amount of knowledge and experience that is available to you within your team and the wider Shell company is priceless."

Tamara Morales

Exploration Geoscientist

Shell Graduate

"I was placed in a great team with a wonderful manager, an amazing technical coach and on an interesting project. My project team were great colleagues and eventually we became very close friends – we felt like family!

My manager took care of my development from day one. I was slightly nervous about my contribution as a graduate to a well-established team, but I shouldn’t have worried. Besides making sure I was developing technically, my manager also took into account my previous knowledge and experience and helped me find out how my team could benefit from it. It was a fantastic environment where we all exchanged knowledge."
